Twister Court

GENERAL INFORMATION

All our courts are manufactured in a personalized way according to the specific regulations of each country.

Therefore, the thickness of our galvanized tubes and the robustness ending of our structures will vary depending on the legislations of each country where we install our courts and the specific requirements of our clients.

For example, in regions that require reinforcement of the structure due to adverse weather conditions we offer the TWISTER MODEL, more robust and resistant structure with special anchors to withstand any type of adverse situation. Tested and approved by our architects and engineers, it provides a guarantee against hurricanes and cyclones, with winds over 220 km/h.

Possibility of being installed, panoramic or standard type, according to the conditions of each client.

In coastal / maritime areas where salt fog is formed which, driven by the wind, generates conditions of high risk of corrosion or in areas of possibility of sandstorms , we apply a special treatment to our galvanized tubes with a double coat of paint at the end of our entire process to ensure that it does not affect the structure and remains in perfect condition.

The TWISTER model is designed for projects that require reinforcement of the structure due to adverse weather conditions or special legislation.

Tested and approved by our architects and engineers, it provides a guarantee against hurricanes and cyclones, with winds over 220 km/h.

STRUCTURE

Example of a court model for EEUU with a customized structure manufactured to resist
winds of 220km/h to adjust to the regulations of the country:

Structure constructed with 160x160x4mm reinforced tubes up to a 1.m (3 ft) height.

Intermediate posts from structural steel hollow section 80x60x3mm reinforced up to 1m (3 ft) height.

Mesh panels from hollow section steel frame and electro welded wire mesh 50X50X4mm

Based galvanized plates from 15mm (9/16") thick anchorage by using expansive anchors.

Complete structure in hot-dip galvanized steel S235JRH (EN 10219), pre- galvanized mesh and hot-dip galvanized anchor plates.

The metal mesh rests around its perimeter on a frame with tubes cut at 45 degrees providing a superior quality finish on each of the court’s meshes.

The manufacturing processes of our courts have been carried out by laser and robotic welding, guaranteeing a maximum precision cut and preventing future oxidation of the pores.

It can be manufactured for any model of court depending on the legislation of the client country.

LIGHTS

FT-21150

It is a LED spotlight recommended for its low consumption. Its position is adjustable and has an opening angle that reaches 110º. The power of the 150 W spotlight generates an illumination of 19,000 lumens.

FT-4720

In addition to the aesthetic and lighting advantages over standard LED spotlights, linear spotlights guarantee 28,000 lumens, generating a more uniform light beam and avoiding glare.

FT-21200

It is a high quality LED spotlight with low power consumption. Its position is adjustable and has a large opening angle that reaches 110º. Its high power of 200 W with its opening angle allows it to illuminate a paddle court with 4 spotlights, although it is recommended 8 spotlights per court for an optimal illumination of 26000 lumens per spotlight.

Light Pole Shapes

STRAIGHT MODEL

Lighting at 6m height where straight poles are installed and supports the placement of up to 2 spotlights per pole at the end.

Compatible with 150w and 200w spotlights generating an illumination of up to 26,000 lumens.

ZIG-ZAG MODEL

Pole designed to be adaptable to any type of court and spotlight, offering a homogeneous illumination throughout the court.

Compatible with high quality spotlights and designed for courts with a high frequency of users.

C-SHAPE

Pole designed for courts with panoramic vision providing a differentiated and unique aesthetic. Compatible with any type of spotlight, whether linear, WPT type or the classic adjustable LED spotlight.

Thanks to the angle designed by our engineers, the C-shaped spotlight avoids glare, guaranteeing a more uniform vision throughout the court.

GLASS

We manufacture padel courts in 10mm and 12mm tempered safety glass.

The manufacturing process of this tempered glass is in accordance with the SPC 033 Particular Certification System and the EN 12150-2:2004 standard.

This glass has been processed by uniform heat treatment at a temperature of 710ºC and then cooled abruptly.

This treatment causes the glass surface to be exposed to compressive stresses and the interior to tensile stresses, giving it a structural and impact resistance 4 times higher than that of untempered glass.

All the paddle courts include the countersunk holes with polished edges.

18 glasses of 2995 x 1995mm, with 6 countersunk holes, in total 108m2 form each of the models of courts that we offer to our clients.

SAFETY: Impact resistance.

Withstands a thermal shock of 240ºc.

In case of breakage, the tempered glass fragments into small pieces with rounded edges, reducing the risk of possible damage.

It disintegrates into small fragments that do not cause serious cutting or lacerating wounds, providing security to each of the players who use our courts.

We have a quality management system certified ISO 9001 through the Applus quality seal.

TURF TYPES

Fibrillated artificial turf

Artificial turf is characterized by the use of fibrillated filaments.

Advantages: This type of fibers provide the surface with a faster game and manages to better stabilize the infill so the bounce will be more regular on this type of surface.

Cons: The durability of the surface is lower as the fibers suffer more wear and tear.

Colors: Green/Blue/Purple/Red/Black

Recommended use: Paddle sticks with moderate traffic use

Monofilament artificial turf

Artificial turf is characterized by the use of monofilament fibers with memory effect. The monofilament has 3 ribs, which help the fiber to recover its verticality.

Advantages: Paddle grass durable, resistant and with a very high recovery. Play is slower than on fibrillated surfaces and tends to be liked by the vast majority of players.

Cons: The surface needs to be brushed periodically to even out the silica fillers.

Texturized monofilament artificial turf

Paddle tennis artificial turf is characterized by the use of texturized monofilament fibers. Being monofilament, it has not been subjected to a cutting process as the fibrillated ones, but it is subjected to a second texturization process where the monofilament is curled.

Advantages: It imitates a fibrillated grass in its characteristics for being curly but maintaining a superior durability.

This type of fibers give the surface a faster game and stabilize the infill better, so the rebound will be more regular on this type of surface. It also has the aesthetic advantage that the product will look with less infill material and the color of the court will be more vivid.

Cons: The durability of the surface is less than that of monofilament with memory effect, as the fibers suffer more wear in the texturization process and are more flattened.
